The Ugg Tasman slippers werethe brand’s best-selling shoes in 2023— and now, the style is practically sold out everywhere. That is, until this lookalike slipper stepped onto the scene.
Koolaburra, Ugg’s sister brand, created two similar and less expensive styles, known as theBurree SlipperandBurree Platform Slipper. They look almost identical to theTasman slippersand equally-famousUgg Tazzes, both of which have been a celebrity-favorite for years, with supermodels likeGigi Hadid,Elsa Hosk, andIrina Shaykwearing renditions of the styles throughout the seasons.
But because these shoes are so similar, you’ll still want to act fast to get yourself a pair of Koolaburra Burrees, which areavailable on Amazonand thebrand’s website.

Compared to the classic chestnut-hued mules, it’s hard to spot noticeable differences between the two styles. This shoe has the same suede upper and overall design, with a few material differences — the Burrees have an EVA outsole and faux fur lining, while the Tasmans have a sugarcane outsole and real sheepskin interior. The biggest difference is with the shoes’ stitching: The Tasman has a statement braid around the mouth, whereas the Koolaburra version has a similar but flattened embroidery.
The best part? The Burrees Slippers come inblackandsandand cost $75, which is $35 less for practically the same look.

Similar to the Tazz, the Burree Platform Slipper has a little extra height — 1.75 inches, to be exact — and it’s a more budget-friendly way to steal Hadid’s style. It even comes in some of the same colors as the original version it was modeled after, includingchestnutandblack, so you can grab the hue you’ve been eyeing at Ugg for significantly less, since it costs just $90 instead of $130.
Even though these aren’t the original Tasmans and Tazzes, we don’t expect these new styles to stay in stock long. Head to Amazon or Koolaburra to grab a lookalike style now.
