Tarek El Moussais sharing how he responded to finding out via social media that his ex-wifeChristina Haackhad gotten remarried.
“Pretty shortly after me and Christina split, she got into a relationship with Ant,” Tarek explained while holding Heather’s hand.
“I remember they were dating for a few months and I’ll never forget this night,” he continues. “I was on my bed scrolling social media and there it was: a picture of her and Ant and it says, ‘just married.’”
“I didn’t know anything about it,” Tarek adds of Christina’s 2018 wedding, which wasa backyard affair that was also a surprise to their guests. “I sent Ant a message and I said, ‘Please treat my kids as your own.’"
Christina and Tarek have a complicated history — and they weren’t always on the best of terms after their split.
They shocked fans when they announced their split in December 2016 following seven years of marriage. The end of their relationship came after a harrowing incident involving a gun that Tarek finallyexplainedyears later in his 2024 memoir,Flip Your Life.
While their divorce was finalized in January 2018, they continued to film several seasons ofFlip or Floptogether until the series ended in 2022.
Despite a few rough patches and blow-ups, their relationship has slowly improved over the years and they had an emotional conversation in the series premiere ofThe Flip Offthat showed themtearfully forgiving each otherfor their past mistakes.

A year after her split from Tarek, Christina, 41,went public with her relationshipwith Anstead, 45, in January 2018.
TheChristina on the Coaststar andBorn Mechanichost tied the knot in December 2018, and later welcomed their son Hudson, now 5, in September 2019.
After nearly two years of marriage, Christina and her second husband split in September 2020. Their breakup only became more bitter after their divorce was finalized and Ansteadfiled for full custodyof Hudson in April 2022, sparking the beginning of a tense legal battle between the exes.
While their custody arrangement wasfinally settled in November 2022,the exes remained distant untilChristina split from her third husband, Josh Hall, in July 2024.

Christinadetailed her emotional reconciliation with Ansteadduring episode 4 ofThe Flip Off, recalling how he gave her “a huge hug” and told her that he was “so sorry for everything” she was going through with her third divorce.
