Sonja Morganwon’t be going Instagram-official withher mystery boyfriendany time soon.
“I’m still seeing the Viking, it’s been eight months, and I am keeping his identity secret for many reasons,” says Morgan, 60, who’s soon to be seen in Peacock’sReal Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy.“He’s a good one; I don’t want all those other girls out there trying to snatch him away from me.”
Morgan says the two first met when she was staying at a cottage in Virginia while her New York City townhouse was being rented.
“It was such a shock to me when we weren’t filmingRHONYanymore, so I was like, ‘I gotta get out of New York City. I need to detach myself from my usual routine to and get my s— together to figure out what I really want in a man, because I’ve been wasting too much time,’ " she recalls. “And while I was there, the Viking came my way.”

She was especially attracted to him after filming herSonja & Luann: Welcome to Crappie Lakespinoff withRHONYcostarLuann de Lesseps. “We were in Benton, Illinois, and after seeing the guys there I was like, ‘Wow, these are real men,'” says Morgan. “Like, ‘These are not thoseHermès Pochettekind of metrosexual men you meet in New York City. These are real lovers!’ So yeah, my eyes were open. And the Viking, he’s a real manly man, you know what I’m saying? So he got it in and hooked me.”
Morgan firstbroke news of the romance last monthwhile appearing on a panel with herRHUGT: RHONY Legacycostars atBravoCon 2023. “I am dating a Viking. He has a beard, a mustache — white [and] a little gray,” she shared, before joking about their sex life. “The third time I was with him I was like, ‘Have you always had a beard?’ Doggy-style. And I never swap spit. I don’t want anyone’s spit in my mouth!”
Asked how things in the bedroom are going now, Morgan tells PEOPLE they’re both still having “plenty” of fun together.
“I enjoy my time with him,” says Morgan. “He gets two days off a week, so I have to make sure I’m available and he’s available. It’s getting a little tricky with my Sonja in Your City comedy tour right now, because I’m doing Monday and Tuesday shows — which, his day off is Tuesday, Wednesday. So we’re fitting it in whenever I can.”

The only thing Morgan isn’t fitting in with the viking? A meeting with herRHUGT: RHONY Legacycostars. “Oh, they haven’t met him yet either. I said, I’m keeping him secret!” Morgan says. “I showed Dorinda a picture, that’s it. And she thought he was cute. "
On a July 2021 episode ofRHONY, Morgan opened up about what she is looking for in a partner.
“I’m just a Francophile,” Morgan said, laughing. “I’m not averse to French or Italian men. I married American, but he loved to travel. But I should say we were loners. We like to spend a lot of time alone.”
Of course, viewers won’t see Morgan alone onRHUGT: RHONY Legacy, which sees her and de Lesseps reunite with former costarsDorinda Medley,Kelly Killoren Bensimon,Ramona SingerandKristen Taekman.
‘We have a lot of fun,” Morgan says. “It was just so nice to be back together with my girls, and Kristen, who I don’t see nearly enough. It’s a good chance for all of us to just let loose and have some fun. And there may bea pirateor two, I’m just saying!”
