The Emmy Award-winning journalist, 53, was one of several celebrities who attended the reality television star’s43rd birthdayat Funke restaurant in Beverly Hills on Friday night.
On Instagram, Sánchez wished Kardashian “endless happiness in the year ahead!”
“What an absolute blast @KimKardashian,” Sánchez wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. “Your kind heart shines equally as bright as your beauty, and it’s a constant reminder of the incredible person you are, both inside and out.”

Sánchez is a family friend and has beenseen in publicwith both Kardashian and momKris Jenneron multiple occasions in the last few months — the world-famous momager was even there when Sánchezcelebrated her engagementtoJeff Bezosin August.
Jenner, 67, described it as the “best weekend ever” in a social media post at the time.
The month prior, Sánchezattended a dinnerwith Kardashian, Nicky Hilton and her husband James Rothschild at New York’s Mercer Hotel. Additionally, Sánchez and Jennerconnected for the last legofBeyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in September, which Sánchez said “was crazy fun.”

Kardashian and Jenner were also on hand when Sánchez gave a heartfelt speech atThis Is About Humanity’s 5th Anniversary Soirée, where she washonored for her philanthropy.
During her speech for the organization, which focuses on separated families at the U.S. and Mexico border, Sánchez made sure to thank a number of people in the room, including her significant other.
“I want to thank each and every one of you for coming out here today, and I want to thank you all for supporting This is About Humanity,” Sánchez told the crowd. “Thank you, and Jeff, I just want to say thank you for inspiring me to go out into the world and make a difference.”
