Lauren Burnham picked the most unexpected day to prankArie Luyendyk Jr.: at their wedding!
AsTheBachelorcouple continues to share photos from theirlavish ceremony in Hawaii, new details are coming out about the sweet, and silly, moments leading up to when they said “I do.”
On Thursday, Luyendyk, 37, shared a series of photos on his Instagram, revealing how his bride-to-be fit inone big prankon their special day.
“FIRST LOOK… »»»»,” the former Bachelor wrote alongside a slideshow of images from the moment he turned around to get his “first look” at Burnham, 27, in her white dress.

However, that wasn’t who was waiting for him.
In the images, Luyendyk found himself face to face with one of the couple’s male pals, who was wearing a wedding dress while casually drinking a beer.
“I can’t even begin to tell you how shocked I am, currently planning on how to get her back,” Luyendyk added alongside the prank photos. “S/O to @drhallo, you’re a legend for playing along and I’m sorry this will be all over the internet in a few minutes lol!”
The couple exchanged vows on Jan. 12, 2019, and while every detail of the nuptials was hand-selected, Burnham took inspiration from a popular teen movieto get the look just right.
“She sent photos of theTwilightceremony scene to show the hanging florals and arch,” a source previously told PEOPLE.

“It was an amazing day. Arie and Lauren wrote their own vows and both of them got choked up,” a source told PEOPLE of the celebration, whichBachelorhostChris Harrisonofficiated.
The wedding came 10 months after getting engaged onThe Bachelor‘s After the Final Rosespecial following thecontroversial finale, when Luyendykproposed tofinal pickBecca Kufrin.
“Love is not always perfect,” Luyendyktold PEOPLEin March. “Everyone finds each other in a different way. It’s not always a fairy tale, but as long as Lauren and I have each other, we’re happy.”
