One of our current interns in NY had to go all like getting a real job , so here we are — looking for some more houseman , in New York and San Francisco .
We ’re pretty demanding of our interns , but in turn of events , you will learn a band about this whole professional blogging enterprise . So , the ideal nominee is someone who ’s looking at a career in medium , but fair geeky too . Oh , and you must be within day-after-day commutation distance of Manhattan or San Francisco .
The essentials :
• composition experience is a huge , huge plus , though not 10,000 percent mandatory — just be ready to march your great power with some samples . If you ’ve got news media experience , we ’ll likely like you more .
• A enough laptop ( basically , one that ’s practiced enough to handle idle video recording editing )
• Basic experience with HTML , Flickr , FTP , Facebook , Twitter — the internets , basically
• The power to take heed and follow instructions and be tight , like zombie cheetahs are attempt to eat your head — basically , you ’re here to learn and build up your knowledge - infrastructure
• Dedication and timeline . The problem ’s playfulness , and surprisingly educational , but it ’s definitely not easy
• Over 18
• Ability to dedicate at minimum 20 hours a week , with full sentence being the orientation .
The stuff and nonsense you ’ll be learning :
• Research and reporting : instruct how to displume together lots of different form of information from multiple generator for editor program
• Spotting fib : learn how to come up and auction pitch tarradiddle from multiple source and leads
• Promotion : teach how to advertise stories out there on the cyberspace
• Other thing
basically , you ’ll be learning the basics of tech and appliance blogging , which , as it turns out , is pretty worthful knowledge in this crazy metier environment .
