Our Brazilian brother , Gizmodo.com.br , got their red-hot short hands on a few photos of a new iPhone , to beannounced next week . How ? Well , there ’s a Foxconn factory in Brazil , andPedro & co got one of their men at heart .
Inside , they constitute a Modern - SKU iPhone that looks just like the old iPhone 4 .
Most of these photograph do n’t seem like anything special — just snapshots of a familiar face . But when you get to the last one , a flick of a Foxconn Brazil calibre control form , you ’ll notice something unusual : a different model number , N90A.This has already been bruit to represent a meretricious interlingual rendition of the iPhone4 .

These particular phones wo n’t be hitting any shelves anytime shortly though — they did n’t foregather Apple ’s manufacture standards . Gizmodo Brazileditor - in - chiefPedro Burgostells us that , though the eminence scribble in the “ reprovado ” ( “ disqualify ” ) section is hard to study , he ’s pretty sure it says “ lenses send stained . ” Now what the hell does that mean ? Who knows . It might have something to do with the television camera lens , or maybe that ’s an aberration on the screen door shown in photo 4 .
Still , this is respectable news for those of you wishing for a more affordable iPhone . For the rest of us eager to get our hands on a next - gen iPhone with some tricked out hardware , we ’ll just have to wait tillTuesday , when Apple will hopefully announce itsnew hotness .
The iPhone 5 Event Is Officially October 4th
