On Sunday, Nist and Turner were spotted on a casual date in Nist’s hometown of Shrewsbury, N.J., just 10 days after theirlive televised weddingon Jan. 4, and they wore coordinating casual outfits for the chilly occasion.
Nist, 70, opted for a brown teddy bear jacket, black pants and heeled booties, while Turner, 72, chose a plaid shirt, navy fleece jacket, jeans and brown sneakers.

When it comes to their post-wedding fashion, it’s evident that Nist and Turner favor a dialed-down look — perhaps a welcome change of pace after their glamorousGolden Bachelorand wedding day wardrobes.
For her big day, Nist wore a “traditional and modern” Badgley Mischka dress fit for a princess. It featured a strapless plunging neckline and fitted bodice with mermaid silhouette, as well as a dramatic voluminous tulle train.
Nist brought her loved ones along to help her pick her gown, including her daughter, Jen Woolston, daughter-in-laws and formerGolden Bachelorcontestants Kathy Swarts and Susan Noles, whoofficiated the ceremony.

“I was presented with these incrediblygorgeous gowns from Badgley Mischka, and I was overwhelmed,” Nist told PEOPLE. “I asked each one of these beautiful women to go pick their favorite. And then I picked three of mine, and I walked down the stairs with them. And when it was the dress, they unanimously thought this was the good gown. I think Susan was so proud because that’s the one I picked out!”

Although Nist faced awardrobe malfunctionmid-ceremony (one strap of her designer number broke off), Turner, who wore a traditional tux, couldn’t take his eyes off his glowing bride.
