Forget the fact that this film is fundamentally a very good toy commercial message that just made $ 69 million at the box office ( thus prompt the rack of commerce forward ) ; Fox Business host Charles Payne is accusing The Lego Movie for demonizing Big Business .

First up , the overall message of the cinema is n’t the super lazy laying claim that capitalist economy = unsound . The Lego Movie is infinitely voguish than it has any right to be , and its message is base in the mutualism of wildly originative thinking and teamwork . You postulate both social system and creativity in your life so everything actually can be awesome . In fact , we talked to the managing director Phil Lord and Chris Miller about the complicated idea behind their pic andthey elaborated :
Phil Lord : Emmett [ the main eccentric , voiced by Chris Pratt ] is the guy who can synthesize both of those styles of play . There needs to be some kind of social system . That ’s probably dead on target of this movie as well . There were reading of this movie that were just jest . There needs to be some variety of grille upon which to flow all of this creativity . These folks , when everybody is doing their own individual thing — that does n’t really crop either . So I do n’t know that we took a really strong perspective , I think we leaned toward individual creativity , but we also want to acknowledge that that can be debatable too .
Chris Miller : There are a lot of different ways to trifle , and a lot of different path to be creative . But there ’s also an authoritative aspect to that which is collaboration and having some variety of foundation from which to work up on . It ’s kind of a complicated thought to get through in a family movie . But that was the goal anyway .
So basically , think harder Fox Business ! secondly , it ’s not like anyone forced Lord Business to stop doing said Business at the end of the film . The skyscrapers remained — in fact further construction was encourage ! Keep being you , Lord Business , just do n’t freeze multitude with screwball glue , ok ? Great .
Also you could contend that the ONLY reason Lord Business is a baddie is because SPOILER TALK FROM HERE this Lego creation was inspired by the child ’s strict parent , who just so befall to be a guy wire in a lawsuit . Capitalism does n’t really live in this movie besides , you acknowledge , make a massively successful film that will generate sequels and the buying of products for children and job for those devising , marketing , and selling both the plaything and the succeeding film .
