A 77-year-old man’s dream of becoming aFlorida drug dealerhas seemingly been foiled.

Reginald Odell Kincer of The Villages, anage-restricted community, could face time behind bars after federal prosecutors say he obtained over $1,800 in erectile dysfunction drugs without a prescription from a licensed physician.

The Florida resident allegedly had plans to sell the product, federal prosecutors said, theAssociated Pressreports.

“If convicted, Kincer faces up to one year in federal prison and a fine of up to $10,000.”

Court records state that “Kincer had planned to redistribute these drugs to others locally and outside the State of Florida,” the statement continued.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office maintained that at the time, the presented information was only considered to be allegations and that Kincer is innocent until proven guilty.

Assistant United States Attorney Hannah Nowalk was listed as a prosecutor for his case while the Homeland Security Investigations division would handle the investigation.

According to the charging documents, Snovitra-20, Vilitra 20, Cenforce 100, Vidalista 20, Tadalafil Tablets 20, Kamini Sildenafil Oral Jelly, and more drugs meant to treaterectile dysfunctionwere found in Kincer’s possession on or about Oct. 18, 2018.

Kincer has had prior drug-related run-ins with law enforcement, reportsLocal 10. Per Sumter County court records, he was arrested in 2020 for multiple drugs including psilocybin, marijuana and MDMA. He was given three years of probation in 2021 after being found guilty.

The Villages is Florida’s largest retirement community and there is a myth that it is the “STD Capital of the U.S.” However, theTampa Bay Timespublished a report in 2022 that found it is not the case. According to the report, the three counties including The Villages tend to have lower rates of sexually transmitted diseases compared to Florida overall. The rate of older adults in one of those counties, Sumter County, was about one in 10,000 in 2019, compared to six in 10,000 seniors statewide, theTampa Bay Timesreported.
