Plus , films released between January 1 , 2020 , and February 28 , 2021 , will be eligible . That ’s a full two month longer than usual , since the eligibility window generally ends with the calendar year .
So , what does this all mean ? Well , first and firstly , the dates will hopefully / hypothetically allow for the ceremony to be as dependable as possible .
