Ahungry bearcalled first dibs on a Florida family’s Uber Eats delivery.

On Friday, the family ordered food from Taco Bell. Just minutes after the delivery driver left the $45 order on the front porch of their home in the Orlando suburb of Longwood, a large black bear swooped in and swiped the meal, according toFox 35 Orlando.

The fast-food heist was captured on the family’sRing camera. In the video, the bear saunters up to the door and quickly makes away with the delivery bag in its mouth.

It appears the bear was not only hungry but thirsty, too — moments after nabbing the food, the animal returns to grab the sodas from the delivery order.

The Ring camera clip continues with footage of the family’s shocked reactions to discovering their Taco Bell has been taken after it was set on the porch.

“The bear took the food!” homeowner Laidy Guiterrez exclaims in Spanish in the video.

“He came, and he grabbed the food — then he came again for the soda,” Guiterrez’s niece Nicole Castro later told Fox 35 Orlando.

Guiterrez said she and her family quickly deduced who the mystery thief was when they saw that their food had been stolen, as bear sightings are common in their neighborhood. Though the Taco Bell was successfully delivered, Uber Eats issued a refund for the stolen food.

After their close brush with a potentially dangerous wild animal, the family said they plan to stop ordering food deliveries. And they’re being extra cautious when they step outside their home.

“Before they leave the house, and they open the door, they check the cameras,” Castro told Fox 35 Orlando.

According toBearWise, black bears are most active in the fall months as they try to put on enough body weight to make it through the winter. Bears may spend up to 20 hours a day foraging in the fall, and while the animals typically seek out natural foods, they will also take advantage of human foods when the opportunity arises.

The Orlando family’s stolen food delivery is the latest in a string of brazen bear incidents. Last month, Connecticut homeowner Helena Richardson received a Ring doorbell notification while she was at work that something was amiss in her home.

When she checked the security camera footage, she was alarmed to see she had an intruder — a black bear who had managed to break in through a screen door. The animal then proceeded to raid her freezer, pilfering a frozen lasagna before escaping through an open window.

“I knew no one was supposed to be at home at that time. So I checked, and it was the bear,” Richardson toldCBS 58. “You can see him going from room to room, as comfortable as I am in my house.”

“It’s very hard to believe,” she added. “My mom made me some lasagna. I left it in the freezer, and the bear just, you know, took it.”
