Ariana Madixis going to be the name on everybody’s lips.
The reality star will make herBroadwaydebut this January, starring as Roxie Hart for a limited eight-week run in the long-running hit,Chicago.
“It’s just the biggest dream come true,” she said onLive with Kelly and MarkWednesday, announcing the news. “I cannot believe this is real life. I’m going to cry.”
It’s the realization of a longtime goal for Madix, who studied musical theatre at Flagler College and first moved to New York City after graduation, with hopes to land a spot on the Great White Way.
She never made it then, moving instead to Los Angeles where she would go on to find fame as a cast member onVanderpump Rules.

Ten years into her run on that show, Madix broke through the Bravoverse and into the cultural zeitgeist after making the life-rocking discovery thatTom Sandoval, herboyfriend of nine years, had been carrying on amonths-long affairwith her friend and castmateRachel “Raquel” Leviss.
She pivoted that personal heartache into an impressive range of projects, including a star turn in Lifetime’sBuying Back My Daughter, a newcocktail book, a slew of high-profile brand partnerships and a run on season 32 ofDancing with the Stars, where on Tuesday, she place third.
Now Madix will finally take her Broadway bow. Her run inChicagoat the Ambassador Theatre in New York City will begin Monday, Jan. 29, 2024 and will go through March 24.
Chicagois Broadway’s longest running American musical in history, the revival having opened in 1996.
