While HBO wonders what the hell they ’re going to do if ( or when , more likely ) their hit show catch up to the books , the electronic connection is already thinking about more Game of Thrones TV — author George R. R. Martin says the net is deal a prequel series , perhaps base on hisDunk and Eggshort stories , which are set 90 year earlier .

Well , I have been writing for a number of years a series of novellas set in the same world , the populace of Westeros , but a hundred eld in the beginning , about two characters called Dunk and Egg . And I published three of those novella , The Hedge Knight , The Sworn Sword , and The Mystery Knight , and I have in mind about nine or ten more novelette about the adventures of Dunk and Egg .
So we have been act with the estimation of doing those as prequels . They would be prequels , in a sense , they ’re a hundred days in the first place but in the same world . They ’re moderately easy in tonicity than the main serial publication , a little more adventurous . But my fans do it them and I bed the two case too , and it all ties into Westeros chronicle . So maybe that will be what we ’ll do .
I ca n’t really fault HBO ( or Martin , for that matter ) for essay to put out anything with the word “ game , ” “ of ” and “ commode ” attached to it right now , I still think they should make one prequel time of year of the show , covering the effect that led up to and directly after Robert ’s Rebellion .
