It feels like every few months there ’s some kind of rumor about whether or not Reeves , the theater director working on a novel Batman motion picture , will cast Ben Affleck in the role or go with a young doer . Things depart last yr whena report saidAffleck was on the elbow room out . afterwards , Affleckmade it seem likethat was n’t the case . Then onandon it continuedwith dissimilar inverted comma , reports , and rumors , some infringe , some supportive , and it ’s all just become a big , addle , secret plan of “ We Do n’t experience . ”

Pictures Group ] to really reshuffle the executive deck on the feature article side and release DC into something more redoubtable than it is powerful now , even as a James Wan - directed Aquaman is coming and Wonder Woman 2 is in production , with Matt Reeves rebooting Batman for a new standalone franchise , probable with a new actor to flirt the Caped Crusader after Ben Affleck ’s stretch in Batman v Superman and Justice League .

Update : The Hollywood Reporterdid an update on the state of DC films and said that Reeves ’ playscript features a younger Caped Crusader . So it seems very potential that these rumors are true . And have been since last summer .
